Learned more in 2 hrs. than I do reading the Crappie magazines. A really great
presentation.... another thing that is so good about this forum, that we
have experts who are willing to share their knowledge with the rest of us.
Hope we can do it again.

I'm CONVINCED, y'all. Ernest Paty beats anything I've ever
witnessed in a fisherman. I swear he can smell them where they lay...
We easily caught over 80-90 fish today on the roughest water
I've ever been on anywhere (excluding Navy time). I never did achieve the
spinning outfit form I use to possess and played "pool" most of the day,
bouncing my jig off the dock sideboards and into his lap.
Some of the biggest crappie I've seen in a long, long time and we both lost big fish
at the boat. We caught crappie, drum, catfish, bass, sand bass, and a
couple of "I wonder what that was?" as they trucked on out into open
water.
I want to tell you guys that you're missing one heck of an
event fishing with this gentleman. He even showed me his version of
"trolling"...just sorta slowly swim the jig from his position over under
me and catch fish UNDER ME! The guy oozes confidence and he had the fish
in a frenzy today despite 20+mph winds.

out today, Ernest. You are excellent company to keep and I mean that
sincerely. And thanks for the fish. The wife and I will certainly enjoy a
few of those succulent morsels tomorrow night and save the rest for many
more evenings of fine eating.

My fishing buddy and I had a great trip with Ernest on LL. Ernest is such a good teacher
and is a very patient man when it comes to asking him questions. I asked more who, what,
where, can I, Should I questions than he's probably heard and took them in stride. He is
full of information and soo good at what he does I found myself just watching him at times.
We found fish in places I thought, "HUH"? I really expected him to tell me your doing that
all wrong and point out how many flaws where in my presentation, but from reading this forum
and all the good information on it, I felt that more than anything I lacked confidence. He has
definetly shown me the light and I want to thank him again. Best guide I have ever used for any
species. Nice big fillets in the freezer, mmmmmm!
